NANTO | Brand
COFFEE COMPANY How do you make a new coffee company stand out in a sea of beans? By keeping it solid and sassy. A block motif of stylized cranes brings timeless, grounded energy — then a three-headed bird walks in and lightens the whole thing up. Add a palette of blue, white, and bright red to a geometric theme and it all gives the same message: solid and sassy, all the way through.
MEEW | Environmental Design
MUSEUM of ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & WONDER A large scale functional system to effectively guide the flow of museum goers with style through a space built around curiosity, play and wonderment. The MEEW solid blocky type is complemented by the supporting submark’s playful energy. A flock of birds helps carry the brand seamlessly through collateral and merchandise. The result is a system designed to feel as full of wonder and delight as the museum itself.
LUCKIEST NIGHT | Event
PERSEIDS METEOR SHOWER WATCH PARTY Getting folks out to a remote location for an all night event is a tall order. This retro-inspired campaign mixes bold 70s typography and luscious summer hues to set the mood for this party. Topping it off is a flood of falling stars inspired by an 1883 woodblock print of another meteor storm. This one is built to feel as big as the night skies it celebrates and will resonate all night long.
FRY BREAD POWER | Book
A CELEBRATION OF INDIGENOUS RESILIENCE Our stories about fry bread are deeply tied to the heritage and traditions of all the Indigenous people living here on Turtle Island. This cookbook design is deliberately set with playful bouncy display type and a warm soft desert palette and illustrated with braids of sweetgrass. It becomes an offering of lightness and joy to help overcome the complicated history of fry bread.
